Kvadrat has deep roots in Scandinavia’s world-famous design tradition. The company was founded in 1968 by Poul Byriel and Erling Rasmussen in Ebeltoft, Denmark.

Today, the company remains family-owned and operated, being passed down to the second generation in the late 1990s. This rich history has enabled the brand to continue its evolution as a global textile leader.
