The Acre Chair is a collaboration between Città and Hong Kong-based industrial designer Michael Young. Michael describes the design as a “quirky classic”, with a strong focus on quality ergonomics.
Originally released in 2021 and awarded a Gold Pin at New Zealand’s Best Design Awards. This updated design features a refined metal base with a durable two-layer powder-coat finish. The signature, softly curved seat shell is expertly crafted from eco-plastic—a low-carbon material made from renewable sources, with a 30% straw fibre content.
